Located in the quaint town of Sayville and in
business for over sixteen years. Chef Owner Steve Sands and Jules Buitron
operate this popular, casual European style bistro. Our talented staff offers a diverse American Eclectic
menu featuring pasta, veal, chicken, lamb, seafood, the freshest
fish available and innovative daily specials. A very popular lunch
spot, we offer innovative salads, sandwiches, burgers and we are
famous for our creative soups.
Zagat guide boasts "every town should have a restaurant like
this."
The dining room displays framed art prints and
has a soft glow from floral painted glass light fixtures. Dramatic
curtains separate the bar area from the dining room.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America,
Chef Owner Steve Sands has been pleasing customers for over 30 years.
Partner Jules Buitron has been in the restaurant business for over 17
years, learning the business from the ground up at Café Joelle.
At Café Joelle we strive to create a casual, friendly atmosphere
with a staff knowledgeable in both food, wine and customer satisfaction.
Cafe Joelle is a hit with the locals, but you don't have to be local
to enjoy a great meal in comfortable surroundings at a reasonable
price. You can also visit our other restaurant, Pasta
Pasta at 234 East Main Street in Port Jefferson, (631) 331-5335.
